| About Dr. Perkiomaki |
| At age 11, J.J. (Jukka) Perkiomaki left Finland to move with his family to Astoria, Ore. Quickly adapting to his new home, he stored his cross country skis, put away his soccer ball for later use, bought a bicycle, and learned English. Jukka did his undergraduate work at Oregon State University and Western Oregon College and attended the University of Oregon Dental School, where he was graduated in 1977.
Today, Dr. Perkiomaki is an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), local and state dental societies, and the Academy of General Dentistry (AGD).
When he's not busy promoting healthy smiles, Jukka devotes his energy to an area of primary importance to him, his family. He shares his time with his wife Judy, daughter Kaija and son Adam. He also maintains an active exercise schedule, including downhill skiing, squash and golf. |
